Openings with Aruba Networks

1. Protocol Software Engineer

Primary Skills
Prior development experience of L2/L3 protocols (DHCP, IGMP, OSPF, STP, VRRP, …) in an embedded platform
Exposure to IPv6 protocol stack
Familiar with IPC, process management, configuration management, SNMP support
Development experience in a Linux environment
Self-starter and fast learner


2.Quality Engineer : Networking
Primary Skills
6+ years of experience in development/testing networking products
Experience in L2 switching, VLAN, STP etc.
Experience in L3 routing protocols - RIP/OSPF/BGP
Experience in TCP/IP and related networking protocol testing and debugging
Experience in defining test requirements, test methodologies and setting up the required test lab and equipment
Scripting languages such as, Perl, Tcl and Expect
Excellent analytical and technical skills

Desirable:
Should have experience in testing successful networking products.
Good understanding of 802.11 and related protocol will be a plus
Previous/current experience testing in a Linux, Solaris and other UNIX environments as well as how to administer those environments preferred
Programming skills in C/C++


3.Senior Wireless Engineer
Primary Skills

Hands on experience in C
Linux IPC, kernel, networking knowledge
Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n protocol hands-on experience,
madwifi experience is MUST
prior experience of working on WLAN enterprise software
general knowledge of routing, forwarding datapath


4. Senior Software Engineer(Security)
Primary Skills
Experience with Linux
Expertise in atleast one or more of the following is required:
Experience with VPN and AAA technologies
Experience with Wireless Security Protocols 802.1x, 802.11i is a plus
Experience with using hardware crypto interfaces such as XLR is a plus
Experience with multi-core platforms for data path software development is a plus
Must have the ability to troubleshoot issues in complex network setup
Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new technologies quickly and can adapt to a growing and evolving team
Imaginative, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
