Mandatory
Domain knowledge, preferably within a telecom company, system integrator, or global telecom product supplier.
4.5-7 years engineering & technical experience in telecoms or related industry. Strong engineering methodologies, experience and discipline, including networks, applications, system design and testing and support.
Excellent knowledge and experience of telecom carrier grade products and services and a broad knowledge of the current telecom product offerings across different geographies.
n depth knowledge of IP routing but not limited to BGP, OSI, OSPF, MPLS & IS-IS.
Detailed knowledge and experience of Cisco routing and switching platforms including CRS-1, 12000, 7600, 7200, 6500, 3750, 3800, 2800, 1800.
Relevant experience of IP Network Architecture design including deploying such technologies as QoS and Traffic Engineering. This could be as related to a public services Service Provider IP/MPLS network or a Service Provider internal management IP network.
Desirable Knowledge of Voice over IP, VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323 etc) and architectures and IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) are an advantage.
Knowledge and experience of Juniper ERX/E-Series BRAS platform. Knowledge and experience of Huawei CPE routers and switches
