SKILL SETS:
Working knowledge on telecom domain with Messaging will be added advantage.
Determining the key quality check points for all components.
Developing the test cases and integrating them efficiently into the normal Operations implementation process.
Developing and implementing a software testing infrastructure.
Implementing software requirements validation processes without impacting deployment schedules or budget
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, IT, Telecom, or Computer Science with 3-5 years experience with the minimum requirements.
Proficiency in Sybase and familiarity with other RDBMS, such as Oracle or SQL Server
Must have worked on the full product life-cycle of design and implementation through customer shipment, ideally in a team environment and on products that were used in commercial software development situations.
Required technical skills include good understanding in C, C++, Java, or 4GL. Experience with Perl, Awk, Unix, Shell, Tcl/TK SED also an advantage.
Must be proficient in one of the following operating system environments: Unix (Solaris preferred), Windows NT. Experience with Perl, Awk, Unix, Shell, Tcl will be an added advantage.
